A little over two years ago, I embraced the beautiful city of Paris, making it our home for a year while using co-working and daily-rate office spaces around the city several times each week. While initially this was more of a functional choice, it became a way of life, a source of inspiration and – believe it or not – where I learned an invaluable life lesson.

Travel often teaches flexibility, respect, and awareness of other cultures, and brings history to life in a way just a book can never do. In addition, travel gives my kids a sense of the greater world that exists beyond their home region, state, or country. Mo started his Mo’s Bows at age 9, with a love for bow ties, a strong sense of creativity and some help from his mother and retired-seamstress grandmother who taught him to sew and create his own bow ties.
